Situated across from the Plaosan Temple, a historic twin temple in Prambanan, this 285-sqm house was designed to blend with its surroundings. The design brief called for an open, yet intimate, space with the beautiful view as part of everyday life. Two old Javanese “limasan”—traditional wooden houses—were repurposed and combined with metal and glass to create a modern and functional space.
